Nurture Thyself

My vision for Nurture Thyself comes from years of believing that women, mothers, daughters, and wives have put others’ needs first. As we have become wiser in time, we have realized how much this also applies to men, fathers, sons, and husbands, and how poisonous this message can be to all of us.

I want to be part of something that begins to educate all to know they are not second place based on their roles in life. Similarly, I want all to feel strengthened in sharing their truth and not to fear a loss of respect for doing so. Behavioral changes can achieve this.

Holy Horticulture

Holy Horticulture was first imagined on a weekend when a nurse working the same shift realized she could not attend plant exchange events which all seemed to fall on the weekend. I wanted to create a community for those around the country with limited access or resources. My vision is that people from anywhere can swap plants and develop deeper roots together.

Plant and Pour

The Plant and Pour project came from seeing a lack of accessible interactive activities that all people can join in participation when it comes to gardening. Everyone can pot a plant as well as join a community of like-minded friends. At our Plant and Pour events we can come together for a ‘Green Hour’ and enjoy one another, plant, laugh and enjoy refreshing concoctions. This is for the families with children, the wise in years, the sick or disabled, the hurting of heart, anyone who wants to join! We're after the LAUGHTER!
